Hospitality Technology Announces 2018 Top Women in Restaurant Technology Award Winners

4/10/2018

Hospitality Technology (HT) magazine is pleased to announce the winners of its 2018 Top Women in Restaurant Technology Awards. The 2018 awards program is sponsored by SALIDO, a provider of cloud-based operating systems for the hospitality industry.

Dorothy Creamer, editor of HT, says there is much to celebrate with this year’s Top Women in Restaurant Technology program. “The nomination pool this year was two times what it was in 2017,” she notes. “While this made our judges’ decisions even harder, it is incredibly heartening to see the fervor for which this awards program has been received by the industry. If this upwelling of women in technology continues at this exponential rate, imagine where we will be by next year.”

Now in its second year, the Top Women in Restaurant Technology Awards seeks to honor outstanding women from both restaurants and technology suppliers for reimagining restaurant processes and operations while demonstrating excellence in leadership, inventiveness and skill.

“We’re in awe of this year’s recipients whose achievements in hospitality technology represent seasoned professionals who have pushed our industry forward and the rising stars who will ideate and create for our future, said Shu Chowdhury, CEO/Founder of SALIDO, the restaurant operating system. "The Top Women in Restaurant Technology Awards reminds us all how vital it is to acknowledge and celebrate workplace diversity, a core value at SALIDO. We’re grateful to be involved this year and look forward to seeing the many successes of these leaders and future nominees."
