Plate IQ Achieves “Built for NetSuite” Status

Plate IQ, a leading provider of invoice and bill pay automation for the hospitality industry, today announced that it has achieved “Built for NetSuite” status. The new SuiteApp, built using the Oracle NetSuite SuiteCloud Platform, helps organizations simplify and automate their accounts payable – from upload to bill pay.

“The restaurant industry has been through many challenges over the past 18 months, and our goal is to make life a little easier for them,” said Bhavuk Kaul, CEO of Plate IQ. “By combining the automation capabilities of NetSuite with our technology, we can help improve the invoicing process for hospitality organizations so they can spend less time on AP and more time growing their business.”

Plate IQ’s invoice digitization gathers data directly from hundreds of vendors via electronic data interchange (EDI) as well as by digitizing paper and PDF invoices using optical character recognition (OCR). Restaurants can also pay vendors through Plate IQ and push correctly-journaled payments into NetSuite.

“With remote workflows becoming increasingly dominant in the accounting and bookkeeping world, firms need new tools to minimize the physical handling of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents,” said Guido Haarmans, vice president, SuiteCloud Developer Network and Partner Programs, Oracle NetSuite. “This new SuiteApp extends NetSuite’s robust solution for accounts payable automation specifically for the restaurant and hospitality industry.”

Built for NetSuite is a program for NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Network (SDN) partners that provides partners with the information, resources, and methodology required to help them verify that their applications and integrations meet NetSuite standards and best practices. The Built for NetSuite program is designed to give NetSuite customers additional confidence that SuiteApps, like Plate IQ, have been built to meet these standards.
